$ jarvis --about
Jarvis, my personal assistant
Jarvis is the voice assistant I build for my own use, on my Mac. It is neither sold nor open to the public: I am its only user.
What it does
It sorts and summarises my email, reads me my calendar, prepares reply drafts that I approve before anything is sent, follows my GitHub and GitLab repositories and Trello cards, and hands coding tasks to agents that open pull requests for review.
I talk to it ("Jarvis, …"); speech recognition and speech synthesis run entirely on my Mac.
Its safeguards
Every action goes through a permission engine written in code: reading is free, actions that speak for me need my confirmation, sensitive ones a PIN, dangerous ones are forbidden. Everything is recorded in a tamper-evident local log.
Passwords and access tokens stay in the macOS Keychain; no Jarvis server receives them.
Google (Gmail, Calendar)
Jarvis accesses my own Google account only to provide these services. What is read, where it goes and how to revoke access is detailed in the privacy policy.
